Chris Tomev is the Partner and Actuary at TT Actuarial Inc.

Chris has more than 20 years of consulting experience in the field of retirement and benefits with two prominent consulting companies. He started his career at Alexander Consulting (Now AON). In the first ten years, he developed his areas of expertise including executive arrangements, plan design, actuarial financial management for both pension and non-pension future obligations. He achieved his designation as Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries at AON.

In 2000, he took a more challenging position at Avalon, a Montreal based mid-sized consulting firm (Now Willis Towers Watson), to develop and implement an actuarial practice in Toronto. As the leading consultant, he provided actuarial services in pension plans for various corporations and assisted in plan design for numerous clients. Avalon had rapid business growth during his tenure.

Chris joined TT Actuarial Inc. in 2006 as a full partner. With his extensive experience in Pensions, Plan Wind-Ups and Mergers and Acquisitions, TT Actuarial Inc. has been appointed as the Replacement Administrator to several plans, Chris has also been involved in strategic consulting to private employers with respect to financial projections and risk modeling.
